- Who may register?
- Persons, organisations and associations with an economic, cultural, tourist, historical, social or other connection to Vienna. This is not checked at registration but in disputes via the ERDRP.
- Use
- The connection to Vienna must exist for the entire term.
- Length
- 1 to 63 characters.
- Characters
- 0–9, a–z, hyphen and Latin IDN characters. No hyphen at the beginning or end, not in positions 3 and 4 (except IDN).
- Term
- Automatic renewal for one year at a time; cancellation via the registrar.
- Registrant data
- Update changes within one month.
- Transfer
- Transfer only to other eligible parties.
- After expiry
- Restore possible during the Redemption Grace Period (ICANN rules).

- ICANN Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP).
