- Who may register?
- No eligibility requirements, unless the registry specifies otherwise for the individual extension.
- Allocation
- In order of application (first come, first served).
- Length
- Up to 63 characters.
- Characters
- a–z, 0–9 and hyphen, IDN characters as listed on the registry website. No hyphen at the beginning or end, no double hyphen except in xn--.
- Registrant data
- Name, street, city, state/province and postal code where applicable, country, phone and e-mail of the registrant; an organisation is optional. Personal data is redacted in public lookups where data protection law requires it.
- Term
- 1 to 10 years.
- Two-character names
- Holders of two-letter names must not falsely imply a connection to a government.
- Disputes
- UDRP, URS and the ICANN transfer dispute rules apply.
- Transfer
- With an auth code (auth info) under the ICANN Transfer Policy. A lock period applies after a new registration or transfer.
- After expiry
- Restore possible during the Redemption Grace Period (ICANN rules).
